three things i look for in a weed killer. one, does it work. yes. two, is it safe for the dog. yes. three, is the price reasonable. yes. clover and dandelions gone in a week. that is all. three for three.
the application score on their website is genuinely useful. checked it before i sprayed, told me to wait one day for better conditions. waited, sprayed, results were noticeably better than my first attempt where i didnt check. that little detail matters. clover gone in about a week, lawn is fine.
ok i was getting tired of the clover takeover, it spread from the corner of the yard out to the whole front lawn over like two summers. mixed up a tank, sprayed everything in about an hour. by the next afternoon the clover was visibly wilting which honestly was satisfying lol. by day five it was crunchy. grass underneath is bouncing back nicely now that the clover isnt choking it out.
like that this comes as a granular concentrate not a pre mixed liquid. means im not paying to ship water like every other product on the market. mix what i need, store the rest dry. did about 5000 sq ft with a quarter of the bag. clover and dandelions both gone in 5-7 days. ill be using this for years.
did most of what i needed. clover gone. dandelions gone. but one stubborn patch of wild violet in the corner needed three applications to fully knock out. so 4 stars instead of 5 because the wild violet thing took longer than i wanted. but it eventually worked, no hard feelings.
got two dogs and one cat, and the cat is an indoor outdoor cat. ive been avoiding any kind of weed killer for years because of them. saw this on a youtube video, did some homework, decided to try it. let it dry before letting them back out like the bag says. clover and the few dandelions we had are gone. cat seems normal, dogs are normal, im relieved.

sprayed monday morning. tuesday afternoon i could already see the clover and dandelions starting to wilt. friday they were brown. weekend i mowed and most of it was gone. i wasnt expecting it to work that fast on the broadleaf stuff. the application score thing on their website was helpful, told me wednesday morning was a good window.
got pregnant last fall and started looking at every chemical we use in our home and yard. weed killer was on the list. this product is omri certified and the safety info felt thorough. used it during my second trimester after my husband applied it (i didnt want to handle the concentrate just in case). lawn looks great, baby and i are healthy. peace of mind matters.
works well, no complaints about effectiveness. one nitpick: i wish the bag was clearer about how long to wait before letting kids and pets back on the lawn after spraying. it says let it dry before re entry, but how long is that exactly? hour? two hours? rainy day a whole day? more guidance would help. but as i said the product itself works fine.
have to write a review because im genuinely impressed. got this for the chickweed which was taking over our backyard in spring. one application, sprayed early morning, by the next day it was wilting, by day 5 it was gone. lawn underneath is now thick and green where the chickweed was choking it. no chemical smell, no worries about the kids. amazing product.
my dog has had skin issues so we stopped using anything chemical on the lawn. switched to this. chickweed and clover both responded within a few days. only reason its 4 stars and not 5 is the bag is heavy and a bit awkward to scoop from when its almost full, ended up spilling some. otherwise great. dogs paws have been fine.
henbit was taking over my front lawn in early spring. everything i read said its hard to kill organically. did the higher selective rate, sprayed when temperatures hit the upper 60s like the bag says. henbit was wilted by the next day, gone within a week. lawn is filling in nicely now. very impressed for an organic.
results were good on chickweed and henbit, my main spring problems here in pennsylvania. taking off a star because the bag is awkward to handle solo, i ended up needing my husband to help lift and pour. would love a smaller bag option. but as a product it does what it says.
first time ever buying weed killer, i didnt even know there were organic options. our backyard had so much chickweed in the spring it looked like a green carpet of weeds. mixed it up like the directions said which honestly took me longer than i expected the spray took. by the next morning the chickweed was wilting, by saturday most of it was dead. lawn underneath is starting to fill in.
applied in october when most weed killers stop working because temperatures drop. it was still in the upper 60s here in north carolina. clover and dandelions both responded. by november the lawn was clean for winter. liked that i could squeeze in one more application before the season ended.
down here in georgia we have year round weed pressure, especially in spring and fall. did a spring application for the chickweed and henbit, then another in early fall for the dollar weed. both rounds worked. one bag covered the whole front yard easy. the bag itself feels solid, not flimsy plastic. quality product.
