comparing the cost per gallon of spray, this comes out cheaper than what i was buying at home depot. it also works. and i dont have to lock my dog inside for two days after. three reasons to buy this over what i used before. clover and dandelions are gone, lawn looks good.
we just bought our first house in june, the back yard had this weed jungle situation. a friend who does lawn stuff for a living mentioned this brand. ordered the bag, watched the youtube video on mixing, did the back yard on a saturday morning. by the next weekend i was mowing and most of the weeds were dead leaves. felt like an actual adult homeowner for a minute.

the only reason this isnt a 5 is the bag is huge and i live in an apartment with a small balcony, i had to find a friend to store some of it for me. but it worked great on the clover and dandelions in our community garden plot. the actual product is solid. just wish there was a smaller starter size.
three things i look for in a weed killer. one, does it work. yes. two, is it safe for the dog. yes. three, is the price reasonable. yes. clover and dandelions gone in a week. that is all. three for three.
like that this comes as a granular concentrate not a pre mixed liquid. means im not paying to ship water like every other product on the market. mix what i need, store the rest dry. did about 5000 sq ft with a quarter of the bag. clover and dandelions both gone in 5-7 days. ill be using this for years.
did most of what i needed. clover gone. dandelions gone. but one stubborn patch of wild violet in the corner needed three applications to fully knock out. so 4 stars instead of 5 because the wild violet thing took longer than i wanted. but it eventually worked, no hard feelings.
got two dogs and one cat, and the cat is an indoor outdoor cat. ive been avoiding any kind of weed killer for years because of them. saw this on a youtube video, did some homework, decided to try it. let it dry before letting them back out like the bag says. clover and the few dandelions we had are gone. cat seems normal, dogs are normal, im relieved.

sprayed monday morning. tuesday afternoon i could already see the clover and dandelions starting to wilt. friday they were brown. weekend i mowed and most of it was gone. i wasnt expecting it to work that fast on the broadleaf stuff. the application score thing on their website was helpful, told me wednesday morning was a good window.
got pregnant last fall and started looking at every chemical we use in our home and yard. weed killer was on the list. this product is omri certified and the safety info felt thorough. used it during my second trimester after my husband applied it (i didnt want to handle the concentrate just in case). lawn looks great, baby and i are healthy. peace of mind matters.
applied in october when most weed killers stop working because temperatures drop. it was still in the upper 60s here in north carolina. clover and dandelions both responded. by november the lawn was clean for winter. liked that i could squeeze in one more application before the season ended.
works on what its supposed to work on at the selective rate (broadleaf weeds in lawns). for grassy weeds like crab grass you have to use the higher non selective rate which works but kills the surrounding grass, so its a tradeoff. for me, clover, dandelions and a few wild violet patches were the targets and the selective rate got all of them clean. four stars because i wish a single rate handled both broadleaf and grassy weeds in a lawn, but that physics doesnt exist anywhere as far as i know.
used to do the trigger sprayer thing with smaller bottles of weed killer, took forever. this product made me actually invest in a backpack sprayer (4 gal) and now i can do my whole front and back yard in one mixing session. clover, dandelions, chickweed all responded well. lawn is better than it has been in years.
product itself is great, takes care of the clover and dandelions in our small yard. only complaint is the bag is way more product than i need. its lasted me almost two seasons and i still have probably a third left. would prefer a smaller option for small lawns.

good product, did what i bought it for. only thing thats kept me from giving 5 stars is shipping took 7 days which is longer than i was expecting based on the website. when it arrived everything was fine and the product worked well. just set expectations on shipping time accurately for new buyers.
